Researchers say that the novel corona virus spreads with about the same efficiency regardless of the climate. Temperature and humidity is not much of a factor, human behaviour (in terms of social distancing etc.) remains the biggest factor. Otherwise, when Corona started in Mar 2020, Indian summer weather would have ensured that the Covid transmission had slowed down. But it did not.
